The Spring 2009 collection was a mix of fairy tales with dreamy childlike dresses, and pirates, with lots of striped outfits. These two concepts may seem like they would clash, but Betsey managed to mix them up together in her collection and still manage to make her designs look beautiful and not to mention, fashionable. I wouldn't be surprised if a little "Alice in Wonderland" was port of her inspiration too.
